As the casino issue takes another turn with the recent announcement of Foxwoods’ decision to consider moving from the South Philly waterfront to the Gallery in Center City, the city has been provided with another opportunity to represent the interests of local neighborhoods. While no one knows for certain how this latest move will play out, as this report makes clear, representatives from three separate neighborhood associations are looking for one thing – a seat at the negotiation table. Foxwoods contest finalists perform live!
Today on “Happening Here”, the wonder of it all, Foxwoods Casino put out a challenge to local musicians, saying show us a version of their jingle, and joining us to tell us about it is Rory from Foxwoods. Plus, one of the finalists in the contest is local musician Paul Giammarco, who performed his version of the casino’s famous song on The Rhode Show!
